It is Christmas night actually. I started the blog today because I had time to do so. I learned about it from one of the teachers at our school Mr. Mayo. He has his own blog mrmayo.org. I am doing this blog for three reasons. One as a way to connect with fellow staff members at my school. Instead of sending out emails I am thinking I might send out blog post or something like that. Reason two is some of the teachers at our school have an interest in doing it so I figured if I did it then they will see they can do it too. The third reason is I think it will be a great way to not only organize and provide a central stopping point for teacher support but also to serve as a means to chronicle our efforts together to impact student learning.
